Gambrel barns offer the most inside cubic feet of storage than all other barns and were and are used to store a great deal of hay bales. Customer will be responsible for the shingles drip edge and paint. Gambrel roof design this kit features a gambrel roof design using 2 slopes on each side of the top ridge to reduce the angle of the roof and produce a more rounded smoother look. Kit includes 24 steel angles 12 base plates material lists and plans for a 7 ft w x 8 ft l an 8 ft w x 14 ft l and a 10 ft w x 22 ft l building.

The gambrel style house kit is named for its distinctive roof design. Our diy kits come with everything preassembled studs attached to wall panels labeled primed and ready to assemble. Sometimes known as a dutch hip or dutch gambrel its steep slopes allow easy runoff of water and snow. The upper roof is more flat to maximize headroom and the lower roof is quite steep.
